Melza Brown of Hopkins County, do ordain, constitute, and make my friend Elkanah Grace my Attorney in Fact for my use and benefit for the express purpose of making James Rea of Tennessee State and Robertson County, a deed of conveyance to a certain tract or parcel of land, containing 200 acres in Hopkins County and that the said Rea holds a bond on said Brown for a title. Melza Brown to James Rhea, both of the County of Hopkins and State of Kentucky, $400. A certain tract or parcel of land, containing 200 acres by survey bearing date the 17th day of May, 1807, lying in the county of Hopkins on the waters of Lick Creek, bearing date by patent, December 2, 1817.
